This piece is all about gifts from the sea.  The texture on the back plate represents the wave marks on the sand, I picked up the sea glass on a Pea-Island beach, and the pearls, oh those lush jewels from the sea.

<p>It was time to gather some bits and pieces left from other larger works and get creative.  I love to hammer so the domed and hammered parts were created first.  Then, hmmm, what would answer the hammered marks?  I chose to score straight lines across the face of smaller circles and then dome them to nest inside the hammered pieces.</p>

<div class="mceTemp">Then the framework was created of hammered ovals and circles to create a bracelet.  Last, French wires for the earrings.</div>

 The druzy is set in a fine silver bezel on the sterling silver back plate.  The domed pieced was etched and soldered to a chased ring.  Then the top plated was riveted to the back plate.
